COURSE DESCRIPTION

Functional Skills are practical skills in Maths for all eligible learners. Functional Skills provide an individual with essential knowledge, skills and understanding that will enable them to operate confidently, effectively and independently in life and work.

Course Content

This qualification teaches key Maths skills focussed on common maths problems, solving real life problems and key calculations.

Learners will cover a full curriculum to develop their skills and abilities in subject areas such as fractions, percentages, areas, decimals, graphs, formulas in addition to a wide range of other key skills.
